Structural issues of the skin, such as fine lines and crepe-like skin of the lower eyelids, neck, chest and hands, can be challenging to treat. Dr. Amber Bocknek has several different technologies to draw from to treat your specific problem. These treatments are customized to your unique issues.
Due to structural complexity, most people require a series of 6-10 treatments for optimal results.
We also use this laser to treat highly resistant pigmentation, such as in melasma, or for patients who have sub optimal pigmentation clearance with photofacials, and also in those with more richly pigmented skin based on their ethnic heritage.
The Clearlift laser is a type of laser that emits short pulses of high-energy light in the nanosecond or picosecond range. This is called “Q-switching” Q-switched lasers are commonly used to treat hyperpigmented lesions, such as age spots, sun spots, freckles, and certain types of pigmented birthmarks. The laser targets the excess melanin in these lesions, breaking it down into smaller particles. Achieving the desired results often requires multiple treatment sessions. The body’s natural processes gradually remove the fragmented melanin particles over time, leading to a lightening or elimination of pigmented lesions.
In Melasma, we use this laser in combination with sunscreen and melanin suppressing skin care.
A detailed consultation is recommended if you are considering treatment for these issues. All consultations are complimentary.
