Are you a woman aged 25-70 experiencing urinary incontinence? We invite you to participate in our exciting new study comparing two Health Canada-approved, non-invasive treatment chairs. Your involvement could help advance women’s healthcare while giving you access to cutting-edge treatments at no cost.
This clinical study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of two advanced electromagnetic chairs for treating urinary incontinence. Participants will:
Attend six 30-minute sessions (two per week for three weeks).
Complete symptom questionnaires before starting treatments, during each session, and two follow-ups at 2 and 4 weeks after completing the sessions.
The treatments are entirely non-invasive and performed while you remain fully clothed. Each session uses electromagnetic technology to stimulate your pelvic floor muscles, delivering the equivalent of over 11,000 Kegel exercises in just 30 minutes. While you may feel muscle contractions, the sensation is generally considered comfortable by most participants.
No changes to your daily routine or medications are required to participate.
Women aged 25-70 years
Experiencing mild to severe urinary incontinence
If you have a significant health concern not listed here, please contact our team to discuss your eligibility.
Participants will be randomly assigned to one of two chairs for the duration of the study. Both chairs utilize electromagnetic fields to activate pelvic floor muscles, but we aim to determine if one has distinct advantages over the other.
Both chairs emit electromagnetic fields to stimulate the pelvic floor muscles, creating deep and repetitive muscle contractions. These contractions are similar to performing thousands of Kegels but far more intense and efficient. While both chairs are effective at treating urinary incontinence, they differ in specific technical aspects.
This study will help us understand which approach yields the most significant benefits for women.
All women are welcome to participate, even if you’re not a regular patient at our clinic. Let’s work together to advance women’s health care!
